How we keep your accounts safe
Connecting a LinkedIn account to any tool is a matter of trust. Here is exactly how GrabProspect protects your account, your LinkedIn sessions and your data.
LinkedIn passwords encrypted
If you connect an account with its email and password, the password is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is stored, and only used to sign that account in again when needed.
Your password, hashed
Your GrabProspect password is stored only as a slow, salted one-way hash (PBKDF2-SHA256), never in readable form.
2-step sign-in
Turn on codes from an authenticator app, with one-time recovery codes. Admins can require it for admins or for everyone.
Guessing gets nowhere
Repeated wrong passwords or codes are blocked, and password reset links are single-use and expire.
You hear about changes
You get an email whenever your password or 2-step sign-in changes.
Private workspaces
Each team member sees only their own LinkedIn accounts, leads, sequences and inbox. Admins manage access, features and limits per person.
One session per LinkedIn account
Each connected LinkedIn account runs in its own separate, signed-in browser session, never shared with another account or customer.
Your data, your call
Export your leads at any time. Delete scrapes, leads and LinkedIn accounts from your workspace, or ask us to delete your account and its data.
Careful with LinkedIn accounts
A LinkedIn account takes years to build. GrabProspect runs each one at the pace of a careful person: on the days and hours you choose, starting at a different minute each day, with short, irregular gaps between actions and daily and weekly caps per account.
When LinkedIn shows its weekly invitation limit, that account stops inviting until the next week. When LinkedIn asks for a sign-in code or a security check, the account waits for you instead of retrying. The live activity view shows everything each account does.

Does GrabProspect see my LinkedIn password?
Only if you choose to connect an account with its email and password; it is then stored encrypted and used only to sign that account in. With the browser extension, you approve sharing the signed-in session and no password is shared.
What does the browser extension read?
Only the LinkedIn session of the account you choose, and only after you approve it. See the extension privacy policy for details.
Who can see my leads and messages?
Only you, in your workspace, and the admins of your team for managing access. Teammates can't see each other's workspaces.
How do I delete my data?
Delete scrapes, leads and LinkedIn accounts from the app at any time. To delete your whole account and its data, email us from your account's address.
Is LinkedIn automation risk-free?
No tool can promise that LinkedIn will never restrict an account. GrabProspect keeps every account at a human pace with daily and weekly caps, and stops when LinkedIn shows its limits.
