Quick answer
The extension connects the LinkedIn account signed in to your browser to GrabProspect after you approve it, with no password to type. Install it from Microsoft Edge Add-ons in one click (it updates itself), or in Chrome from the download on the extension page. It's included with paid plans.
Install
- Microsoft Edge: install from Edge Add-ons. It updates itself.
- Chrome: follow the steps on the extension page: download, open the extensions page, turn on Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.
After installing, a welcome tab explains the next step. No page reload is needed.
Connect an account
- In the same browser, sign in to linkedin.com as the account you want.
- Open GrabProspect's Profiles page and click Connect this browser's LinkedIn, or click the extension's toolbar button and Add this account to GrabProspect.
- Check it's the right account and confirm.
If you weren't signed in to LinkedIn yet, sign in when asked; the extension carries on by itself afterwards.
Updates
On Edge, updates install automatically. If a newer version is out and yours is older, GrabProspect shows a notice with three steps to update.
Privacy
The extension only reads the LinkedIn session after you approve it, and only for the account you choose. See the extension privacy policy.

Is the extension available during the free trial?
No. During the trial, connect your account with its email and password. The extension is included with paid plans.
Does the extension need to stay installed?
No. Once an account is connected, it runs in GrabProspect's cloud. Keep the extension if you want to add or reconnect accounts quickly.
