Schedules, limits and pace
How Auto and Manual modes work, how to set active days, time slots and time zone, and how daily and weekly limits apply to each LinkedIn account.
Updated
Quick answer
Every automation (invites, messages, follow-ups, Page invites, reply checks) runs in Manual (only when you click Run now) or Auto mode. In Auto, choose Active days, Time slots and Time zone; runs start at a random minute inside each slot, with irregular gaps between actions. Limits apply to each LinkedIn account on its own, set by your plan and your admin.
Auto or Manual
- Manual: runs only when you click Run now (or Check now for replies).
- Auto: runs by itself on the schedule below.
The schedule
- Active days: the days the account works.
- Time slots: the windows it works in. Add several (for example morning and afternoon).
- Time zone: usually the account owner's.
- Automation speed: how quickly actions follow each other. Slower is safer.
Each run starts at a random minute inside its slot, and actions have short, irregular gaps, so no two days look the same.
Limits
Limits apply to each LinkedIn account on its own: one busy account never uses up another's.
| Limit (Standard plan) | Per account |
|---|---|
| Connection invites | 25 a day, 120 a week |
| Messages | 40 a day (follow-ups counted separately) |
| Page invites | 25 a day |
| Leads scraped | 5,000 a month |
High volume and Custom plans raise these; your admin can set lower ones. See your limits under Settings › Your limits.
LinkedIn's own limits
GrabProspect also respects LinkedIn's: when LinkedIn says an account has reached its weekly invitation limit, that account's invites stop until next week. See LinkedIn's weekly invitation limit.
Frequently asked questions
Why didn't my automation run?
Check it's on Auto, that today is an active day, and that the time slot hasn't passed in the chosen time zone. Waiting tasks say what they're waiting for.
Can I change limits?
Your plan sets the maximum; admins set each person's limits within it. Contact your admin or us to raise them.
Are limits per account or per workspace?
Per LinkedIn account. Three accounts on Standard can send 75 invites a day in total, 25 each.
